They have a lovely... read more This vibrant bar and restaurant is a true local staple! After a fire forced its closure, they rebuilt it even larger and better than before. They have a lovely outdoor bar area with seating, in addition to the main restaurant and bar indoors. Our waitress was wonderful and incredibly kind! I have a particular affection for Barbara, the bartender, who is also a neighbor. However, I’m a little confused about why a plant-based patty melt is priced $4 higher than a regular beef burger. The plant-based patty melt was delicious, and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her French dip. I wouldn't recommend the blooming onion, as it seemed over-fried and somewhat tough, although the dipping sauce was quite good. Caffrey's also has a sushi bar, and the sushi there is outstanding!
