I ordered chicken and chips as well as haddock and chips. The portions were generous and cooked well. The dishes in the hot cupboard all looked appetizing. Service was also quick. View all feedback.
What Joanne Ludowyk doesn't like about Tram Stop Fish And Chips:
I was thoroughly unimpressed with my experience at this restaurant. The batter on the fish was extremely soggy and had an uncooked floury residue between the fish and batter. The curry sauce was so thick that it wouldn't even pour out of the pot. I decided to give them another chance after a previous disappointing meal, but now I will not be returning to this restaurant again. View all feedback.
Got to say this is by far the worst fish and chips I've ever had, batter on the cod wasn't cooked all the way through and the chips were cheap bruised potatoes and over cooked if I was closer I would have taken them back instead put it in the bin
Purchased Cod bites and chips £8.50 at 12.15 pm. I only live literally no more than 5 mins away, and after unwrapping, everything was stone cold. The batter on the Cod bites was spongy and soggy and not crispy. Basically a total waste of money.
Long weekend break in Forest of Dean and popped over for a fish supper. Amazing food, large portions and great service with very friendly staff. Excellent start to our holiday.
Coleford's finest, you must try there meat patties, excellent and unique.
Best fish and chips for miles. Worth the drive from Lydney!
