Sizzling Wok - Forest of Dean

Had only delivered our first Chinese trip after the following vote from ledbury recommended - it cannot fail, best we had in the old soou delicious! very recommended. will be ordered again!

I had a beef curry on Wednesday night and it was the best Chinese curry I have had in Newent will come back!

Dropped in to see friends in Newent and decided to stay for supper. Ordered food for 10 people which was ready in 40 minutes (it was a Friday night after all! . Nearly all choose and share dishes, which all agreed was very nice. Thank you.

Ordered a takeaway tonight and on top of the rice being cold we couldn’t work out what the rotten smell in out kitchen was, turned out to be the pineapple in the duck dish, which was not edible. The duck in both of our dishes tasted as if it was in the turn and the prawn crackers where stale. I was just going to throw the food away, but decided to ring and let them know, the woman who answered the phone didn’t seem to want to understand me, her understanding of english had been fine when I placed and collected the order, so instead said I would return it to them as I now wanted a refund. I was greeted by an angry chef, raising his voice and stating the pineapple was not off yet spat it out on tasting it! So only the chef who sizzling, not wok we wanted.

Ordered a crispy spring roll which was big and looked good, but had an 'off ' flavour and was STONE COLD in the middle. Salt and pepper prawns which were so salty as to be uneatable and another dish which I haven 't opened as appetite now gone.
