Kings Arms - Forest of Dean

"Excellent! We were looking for a quick lunch to kick off our weekend getaway. After having trouble finding a place, we were starting to lose hope. Then we stumbled upon the King's Arms... and what can I say? We couldn't have found a more perfect pub with amazing food and friendly staff. Well done to the staff, you were amazing. Thanks a million!"

Great food but not disabled people or rescue dogs friendly. Greed over compassion seems to be their way. So disappointed. We got punished for having a very autistic child with us it would seem. The owners were also publicly damning of a family that had a dog with abandonment issues. I will never go there again they probably won’t mind either.

We found this pub whilst staying nearby and all I can say is wow !! The service from the staff was amazing and having looked through the extensive menu we wernt disappointed at all. The food was delicious and the portion size huge will definitely be back when in the area

I needed somewhere to wait as my car broke down on the road a couple of metres away. The team were very kind and gave me a free mug of tea whilst I waited. I was quite panicked by the whole situation as my front wheel was coming off the car and they helped me stay calm whilst I waited for the RAC. They didn’t need to do any of this but it was massively appreciated. The tea was also lovely and much needed. Thank you

We were a family of 6 and were very pleased with the main menu options plus specials board. We each thought there was several options we would have tried. We each had something different and no one was disappointed with their meal choice. Plenty of food and for a very reasonable price. There were clean plates all round at the end. Some of us also had desserts which were also well enjoyed. The service was excellent! The staff were attentive without being overbearing. There were many tables and a group in that night for dinner so it was very well managed. We will be returning for another meal in the near future.
