Indian food has always been a bit of a hit and miss for me especially with a nut allergy I'm always concerned that somethings going to be a problem.This place o... read more Indian food has always been a bit of a hit and miss for me especially with a nut allergy I'm always concerned that somethings going to be a problem.This place on the other hand has become one of my guilty pleasures and quite possibly the reason I'm now addicted to spicy food :)The guys who run this place are exceptional in every way, polite, extremely welcoming and the food has been brilliant every time.As a take away restaurant it seems more popular as a take away even though the restaurant itself is nice if not a little small.My only complaint if any is the vindaloo they kindly make me is super hot and 9 times out of ten gets me a ticket to sleeping on the sofa so I've started ordering the Madras to keep the peace at home :)Seriously though love this place. It's priced well, the food is consistently fresh, well prepared and allergies are catered for here... never let us down once.Really couldn't recommend it enough!!

The price per person ranged from £20-30, but it was well worth it for the quality of food I received. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal.

The curries and starters are delicious, especially the chicken tikka naan and Keema cheese naan. It's the only Indian restaurant I order from. The take-out service is excellent for a dinner meal, with prices ranging from £10-20 per person. I highly recommend the cheese naan for vegetarians, as well as their clearly labeled vegetarian menu options. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 rating.

Parking: Only down side is that parking is very difficult due to the area surrounding the restaurant. I normally park in the little driveway opposite. There was no parking so we parked in the hairdressers next door which was closed. When we got to the front door we almost turned around a blown front window that probably hasn’t been cleaned for 10 years ,plastic flowers in the window that had an inch of dust I could go on and on . But we stuck with it. By the end of the starter we were pleasantly surprised and starting to have a different view. By the end of the meal we all agreed that it was probably the best Indian we’d ever had. And we’ve had a few. The fact that they don’t serve alcohol didn’t distract from that . This would’ve made a great dine in the dark.

The staff were very welcoming and incredibly friendly and we ordered several items including a tandoori mixed grill, prawns and sheek kebab wrap (which were all seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection). The food was packed full of flavour, spice and had a lovely aromatic fragrance. I would highly recommend this local gem in Cinderford and I will definitely be going back with family and friends in the future!

The chicken tikka and kebab starters were some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place, the food is amazing!

I have used Akashi for years, never had a bad meal, but the last 2 times have been terrible, one meal we had tasted all the same very little spice , I though oh... read more I have used Akashi for years, never had a bad meal, but the last 2 times have been terrible, one meal we had tasted all the same very little spice , I though oh maybe just a one off, so haven’t had a meal from here for over 6 months, we decided to give another go last night instead of travelling to Ledbury to get Indian (which is where we have been going the last 6 months) we’ll should of gone to Ledbury!!! Was told on the phone when placed the order 25 minutes. Got there sat down, 10 minutes , them 20 minutes loads of other customers came and went with there food by this time had waited in the restaurant 45 minutes!!! Joke, ask at the counter where my order was . Sorry a few more minutes, eventually got my food 50 minutes late, got home and well fuming every dish was half full what a rip off and again tasted of nothing £34.00 wasted movers again, will stick to Ledbury from now on
