This is the bistro in the Algester Sports Club in the Brisbane suburb of Algester. The food in this place is excellent due in no small part to their award winning chef. He specialises in smoked food and his pulled pork burger is one of the best club meals I have ever eaten. To call it club food would be unfair as all the dishes here are restaurant quality. What Katie Young doesn't like about E-Street Bistro:
I would suggest avoiding this restaurant if they are going to advertise a seafood basket without any fish. After waiting four months to give them our support, we were disappointed by the lack of food provided. The bar staff was great, but when my husband jokingly asked where the rest of my meal was, the server simply said that was all there was - no seasoning, no dressing. We decided to spend our money there to help... View all feedback.

Sometimes you find a perfect venue and this is it! Food is sensational due to a prize winning chef. The smoked meat dishes such as pulled pork buns and brisket buns are exceptional. This is a club with great atmosphere and the view is one...of soothing to the eye bowling greens. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of both food and drinks. One of those places that make you happy to be there. Very highly recommended.
Overall just giving it a because of reasons, we ordered all variations of meats, all good, the Baffalo chickens though, it was just fried chickens, sided with sweet chilly sauce at piece But still everything pretty nice. Only problem would be the...staff unable to communicate to a point a bit hostile, I went around and looked at all these reviews of negative points, not surprised all came from the lowly trained staff, aggression, hostile, can't even take complaints. For me it would be a racist situation, dining club dressing code says no to wearing thongs, that I can understand, but then the infamous pissy staff came about and start to explain in a manner that can be avoid otherwise seems very hostile. Then I looked around the crowded place checking if anyone's wearing thongs and saw other men and half of the women wearing them. Racist at it's finest, never again.
