Truly the worst fish I have ever had.....We ordered crumbed Cod, together with a hamburger and chips....The hamburger and chips were fine, however when we opene... read more Truly the worst fish I have ever had.....We ordered crumbed Cod, together with a hamburger and chips....The hamburger and chips were fine, however when we opened the fish it smelt burnt.....We persevered, and actually tried to eat the fish as we were so hungry...It was impossible, cooked to a withered and burnt state, so inedible it was actually not possible to bite into.Truly the most disgusting excuse for cooked fish I have ever experienced

The picture had a nice breast of chicken fillet, mine had a couple of 20 cent size bits and three bits all I got was a mouth full of bun and sauce. The insano burger was nothing like previous times, it was no bigger than the kids burger we ordered. The med sweet potato fries for $9, was a box of blacken, wiltered, lump bit of sweet potato. Most of it was no bigger than my pinky finger. It tasted of burnt oil. Three bits and the rest went in the bin. For $50+ it was the worse burger and fries meal I have had. Oh, I almost forgot. The on-line message said ready for pick up in 15mins, it took 10 min to drive there, but after paying I was told to wait 20mins. Get your act together Chompers.

I also had... read more I came back here against my better judgement after my last poor experience. The customer service last time was very poor. Rude girls behind counter. I also had a very small piece of fish with a small portion of fries and small salad for $15.40 with handcut fries. The fish didnt taste great either. On a positive the fries have always tasted good just not enough. This time i got a decent size fish pictured below and tiny fries and salad. Not happy for the price, needs to be more chips. Customer service poor again, there were 6 children working in the kitchen. Order took 25 mins in a quiet restaurant which i thought was a bit too long. 2 other separate groups also showed their dissatisfaction with the place in relation to their wait time and food quantity, one just ordered chips. This place has gone downhill, it used to be good. Dont think ill be back after the second disappointing experience.

Ordered some fancy chips, triple cooked or something bad, soggy, should have asked them to redo it, but the service was crap, waited so long. like I said, might have been a bad day but I'm not going back

Firstly, we stood there for... read more Rockstar Triple Cooked Chips..... Crap Mind blowing. Wow. Just wow. I have never been this under whelmed by a burger in my 30 years. Firstly, we stood there for about 6 minutes waiting to be served as they took a phone order, another person did something on another computer, and someone weighed chips. We ordered an Angus steak burger, Inferno burger, hand cut triple cooked chips with 'rockstar ' topping and chips. It took a while to come out but no biggie. But when it did, it wasn 't worth the wait or the money. The Angus was stringy, half the size of the bun and dry, a slice of tomato, two piece of beetroot, sad lettuce, BBQ sauce. The Inferno was an overcooked patty and the regular bits and pieces. Something you would expect from a charity stall at the local school fete that you would pay $3 for and still be disappointed about. The Rock star chips were undercooked, definitely not triple cooked, soggy, with a tiny bit of cheese, mince bits but none of the promised onions or sauce. We complained about the chips, so they put extra sauce on them.... good work, guys. NOT. Just crap. So crap. Look up 'crapola ' in the dictionary and you will see a picture of those 'rockstar ' (Axl Rose/Alice Cooper) chips. I am so surprised at the rating of this place. The only thing they got right is that the Inferno burger was spicy (little bit).
