We had a wonderful lunch here. It's away from the main square and any noise, with a great view over the town from the courtyard. The food was delicious - very imaginative. We had the three course lunch and it was good value at €70 for two with wine. Very welcoming staff. I would highly recommend it. View all feedback.
What André Olivier doesn't like about Restaurant Le 9:
Good food and the waiters were friendly and hard working. But there were only two to cover the whole restaurant and one of whom chose to clear up outside rather than serve the customers. Over priced. View all feedback.
We had dinner at this place after the hotel made the recommendation to go there. The menu is rather simple (which is better than a menu with 20 courses!) but quite ok. It was nothing crazy but also prices were very reasonable. Staff was quite friendly. The place is a little bit on the back of the village on the hill but the terrasse does not have a crazy view.
The food was good but not great. We've eaten outside on the terrace. It's green from the trees growing below. I thought that there was a view on the village.
Tried to make a reservation but numerous phone calls went unanswered and messages left requesting a call back were also nor answered.
We arrived at this pleasant restaurant, located in a quiet neighbourhood, on a Friday night as a party of four, quiet a bit later than originally reserved due to satnav malfunction! There were surprisingly few people which I understand is not always the case at the weekends. We were welcomed warmly and provided with excellent food and drink, including a delicious vegetarian dish not originally on the menu, which was greatly appreciated. Pleasant surroundings, friendly & efficient service. Highly recommended.
A very quiet & peaceful setting away from the hustle & bustle of Market day Monday in Forqualquier.Delicious & refreshing melon & ham brochette, followed by succulent fish of the day & a pichet of Provençal Rose, ending with the most wonderful apricot tarte, all at a very reasonable price. Service was slow with one waiter servicing the whole resaurant but we were in no hurry & the wait was worth it. Came here 6 years ago - the excellent quality of the meals we enjoyed then has been maintained.
