Excellent cuisine, friendly service...wine by the glass at €9, pleasant; this white from St Jean les platanes costs €8.17 at the cellar; the atmosphere was perfect as was the cuisine (table in the flower garden with Provençal scents, wisteria petals, etc. , the smiling and attentive service, the cordial chef and the price of the wine perhaps in accordance with the class of the place. We wouldn 't want to let such a leader leave on a false note, happy retirement!
A delicious table, beautiful products, excellent flavors and dishes. Too bad the chef is leaving for other horizons...

I was hesitant to return, as I enjoyed my first experience so much. I have found that a return visits to the same venue are often a disappointment. Well, what a pleasant surprise. Again, only one chef, the owner, preparing everything for a table of 15 people and executing it off beautifully. There was also myself and a table for 2 dining at the same time. Well my meal was spectacular. First the Dos de Cabillaud, a river trout with a pink flesh much like a Steelhead Salmon. The vegetable accompaniment was fresh and well chosen.. white asparagus and artichokes...and lightly prepared.... just wonderful. My next course was a simple cheese plate and followed by a delightfully delicious fresh strawberry preparation. The staff very helpful and attentive. The chef, Marlon, as in Marlon Brando : , could not have been more dedicated to see that everyone present was well cared for and enjoyed their dining experience. L 'Eglefin is a very special venue. Clearly, I 'll return again
