Goldener Hirsch - Forbach

The Golden Deer is located directly on the Forbacher Holzbrücke. It is the longest exposed, covered and walkable wooden bridge in Europe. Both from the windows of the restaurant and the rooms of the country hotel you have a magnificent view of this unique building and the wild Murg. The Golden Deer shines in the best Schwarzwald-Manier: very much beautifully processed wood, generous flower decoration on the balconies, the genre rusticity. The hotel has indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath. A small (but a little shady) guest garden invites you to sit out in good weather. Recently, I picked up friends here who swarmed from the fresh mushroom and wild dishes. The restaurant seems to me to be open to the guests of the house.
