Our second visit to La Chaumiere first time a year ago on a previous short break to Font Romeu. It’s always difficult finding vegetarian options for our daughter in France (at least in places where we want to eat too) but La Chaumiere was happy to offer an option. Had dinner with friends and I ordered a “steak tartare “ which was very greasy and without much taste. I could not eat it and left it virtually untouched. When I complained to waitress as she came to clear the table, her answer was simply “you should have told me earlier “ to which I replied that I would have, had she come to check on us during the meal which she did not.
