What Anonym dislikes about Scoops:
I can only comment on their snowballs, because this is the only thing I got and that was through the drive thru, which is beautiful. I won't get another one. they only offer a size that is an 8 ounce cup, but the little ding that is $2 at any other snowball stand in the south is $4 here or $4.50 because I added condensed milk that is my biggest complaining, but for that is $4 or $4.50 it is also not a big snowball. t... Crayfishand shrimp were completely cold. The last time about a third of the crayfish were soft.
This was our first time trying this place. Aside from the cheese fries being decent, the service was very slow and the female that took our order read everything we said back to us before we paid and they still did not give us our correct order.. after waiting 45 mins for it to be done and we certainly did not order much. After waiting so long you would think we would get our order correctly, would not reccomend eating here unless you have time to waste and want to reorder the same things you ordered initially.

I would absolutely recommended Scoops. The only reason I am not rating it 5 stars is I can see how nice it must have been to enjoy eating indoor. Dining out on the patio was uncomfortable as it's only May, and already reaching 93°. I don't know if the plan is to re-open the indoor dining area, but if not there others that do have dining inside just a block, or so up the road. They will be equally as happy to have your business.
Cutest family-owned restaurant. Our recent visit crawfish were seasoned with just pepper, no lemon or garlic. Shrimp stew plate had 1 lonely shrimp cut into 2 pieces, all potatoes and rice. Shrimp fettuccine plate was low on shrimp too with 2 lonely shrimps. Both plates were $18 each, which are high end restaurant prices without standard restaurant portions. Sandwiches are better offerings. Best to drive to Covington restaurants.
