Taco Boy - Folly Beach

This place has an incredibly long waiting time! On Friday evening at 6:00, the wait was two hours (with no option to call ahead for seating or reservations), and even at 5:00, we had to wait an hour.

The ambiance is fantastic, featuring amazing artwork, sculptures, windows, and wallpaper textiles. The menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of affordable options to choose from.

We went for lunch during a weekday and the service was great. Highly recommend the tacos and the cheese dip! And the danger sauce is really dangerous! I love spicy food and normally sauces aren't that spicy to me but this one got me. It was a great meal on a beautiful day.

This restaurant offers a reliable taco and Mexican dining experience with no-frills service and great food. We tried the fish and shrimp tacos—one grilled and one fried—and found them to be well-seasoned, though they could have used a bit more sauce (hence one star off). The corn tortillas are expertly crafted, and the beans and rice are far above the average quality. The house hot sauce is excellent as well. The venue provides a fantastic view, making for a lovely dining atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning.
