Lowlife - Folly Beach

My first visit to Folly Beach began at this restaurant, and it was amazing! The nightlife is fantastic, and the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. It has a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing experience with delicious food and drinks. The average cost per person is between $50 and $100. I highly recommend the Fish Tacos and the Old Bay Seasoned Waffle Fries!

After enjoying 4 drinks and some tortilla chips, we settled the bill in cash and left. However, the next morning, I noticed a charge of nearly $90 Canadian on my Visa! We had already paid in cash, so I was shocked to find I had been double charged. I've been trying to reach the bar, but the only two phone numbers I found go straight to voicemail, which has been frustrating. I've also sent a message through their website and emailed an address listed on their Facebook page. I truly hope this is just an honest mistake, but I urge anyone thinking of visiting this bar to be cautious!

My favorite spot to eat on Folly Beach! We always enjoy starting with the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, followed by the fried chicken sandwich and the falafel burger for our main dishes. Price per person: $20–30. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5.
