While traveling along the Van Wyck Expressway, I decided to stop here for a meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a Reuben sandwich, a turkey club, split pea soup, and chicken and waffles—everything was fantastic!

The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly locals and the courteous staff. The tables and facilities were spotless. I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in town!

I went to the restaurant and waited for 5 minutes to be seated, but nobody acknowledged me. They seemed a bit busy, yet one person was just standing by the coun... read more I went to the restaurant and waited for 5 minutes to be seated, but nobody acknowledged me. They seemed a bit busy, yet one person was just standing by the counter, looking at me without saying a word. After another 5 minutes, I chose to sit in an empty booth, only to be told I couldn't sit there because it's reserved for two or more guests. I had to either sit at a small table next to someone else or at the counter, which was even smaller and crowded. Frustrated, I decided to order takeout instead and stood there for another 5 minutes while the waiter who had told me to move just kept walking by without assisting me. I ended up leaving and definitely won’t be going back.
