Lucia Pizza - FLUSHING

The pizza is great, but I strongly advise against ordering delivery. UberEats is consistently over an hour late.

As a native NYer, this spot is favorite so far in NYC and I’ve tried many pizzas. The crust is tasty and soft but thin. The sauce and cheese are perfection and ooey.

Lucia Pizza has been a staple for decades and is a popular pizzeria on Main Street in Flushing. Their pizza is excellent, earning a score of 8.2 out of 10.

This place used to serve a great slice of pizza in the past. Unfortunately, I've noticed a steady decline in its quality over the years. Before the pandemic, I used to stop by for a slice quite often, maybe once a month. In the last couple of years, I've tried to return, but the regular slice just isn't what it used to be. I'm not sure what has changed—whether it's the staff, the quality of ingredients, or something else entirely. One positive is that they haven't significantly raised their prices like many other places; it's only increased from $3 to $3.25 a slice. However, it seems that this price compromise has come at the expense of quality. The space itself is quite small, seating only about 3-4 people comfortably, and anything beyond that feels cramped. I really hope they can make some improvements and return to being the reliable classic New York slice spot it once was.

Delicious pizza! Pizza is always hot and fresh at Lucia Pizza. I never get my slices reheated in the oven. The slices are always hot and oven fresh. Fantastic! Huge slices at a fair price. Best pizza in Flushing Queens. I highly recommend Lucia Pizza!
