Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to grab something to go. Recently, I saw someone getting a soup that looked absolutely delicious, and the owner kindly made one for me for free! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is always fresh and tasty.

M... read more I was in Flushing the other day and had a craving for some Korean baked goods. After seeing Koryodang on Union Street I decided to stop in and check them out. Most items were buy two and get one free which seemed like a good deal. I tried the corn mayo biscuit, a pumpkin bun and a green bean bun. I really liked the corn mayo biscuit. It was sweet and savory at the same time. The green bean bun was okay, but definitely not a sweet as the red bean buns I have tried. The pumpkin bun had a texture similar to a rice cake. It was not sweet at all and tasted a little bland for me. Another time I tried some of their custard cream and cream buns and they were pretty good. I would give them 3.5 stars. If you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth I would recommend the cream filled buns. They are really good value for what you pay. Everything else is a hit or miss.
