I was excited to see an Italian restaurant on the Indiana side. Was disappointed to find out this is the worst Italian food I've ever had. I had Lasagna, it was like it was baked dry without sauce, then a Vodka sauce poured around it before serving. Just terrible. Wife had Chicken Francese, did not resemble any I've ever seen before and the flavor was tasteless. Can't figure out how this place was rated as high as Vo... View all feedback.
Have been here quite a bit and everything is always spot on. Always take a friend and they say they will return.
Our first time at the restaurant and we enjoyed it very much. Food was excellent with large portions. Great having something this nice so close to home. It was the right decision to celebrate our anniversary here. We will definitely return.
This was our first time trying Amore and it was absolutely delicious. We love pasta dishes with lots of flavor and plenty of portion too and BOY did we get both. Louisville folks, don't be scared that this is in Indiana. Not only is it worth the drive, it's a really pretty drive and only took us 30 minutes to get there from our house in the far East End near Shelby County. This is definitely our new favorite italian spot!
My wife and I just had our first meal here. I usually eat half a meal and take the other half home. It was so good, I ate everything before I could stop. I'm so full. Our waiter Chris was excellent, along with all the staff. I recommend this restaurant. The only negative was the music a little loud, and not the right genre for an Italian restaurant, but the food and service made more than for them.
Great anniversary dinner tonight with my hubby!! Al hit a home run with the entree’s; and Chris was a fabulous server who happens to make killer desserts!!! Highlight: The Caesar salad was by far the best I’ve ever had. And the Bourbon sour apple caramel blended drink #wow We will be back!!!!! Wonderful service!
