Eslava's Grille

Eslava's Grille
4.7 / 5 (1701 reviews)

Description

Eslava's Grille delivers fresh, well-executed seafood and friendly, attentive service in a clean, comfortable setting that’s become a local favorite. Standouts include fried oysters with comeback sauce, redfish specials, shrimp pastas and a must-try Tres Leches dessert; portions are generous and prices reasonable. The bustling spot draws regulars for reliable value, though occasional inconsistencies (undercooked items, reheated seafood) and rushed seating at peak times have been reported.

My only regret is that we waited so long to try this restaurant. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Trey, our waiter, is fantastic.

Everything was excellent. I had heard that it was expensive but they were reasonable. I had the seafood pasta and could not have been more pleased!

Love this place! You can tell that the owners love what they do. Great food, service, atmosphere and value. My favorite place in Flowood to take clients for lunch. The Tres Leches will change your life.

Update: 10/31/2023 UPDATE (from my past review below): HIGHLY SATISFIED during this visit! The food was amazing and on point! The service was over the top! Thank you all for the amazing experience, it was absolutely amazing! I will be back! This was the first time I've ever been to Eslava's Grille. The service was mediocre at best, and the lunch entrée I ordered was more than disappointing along with the ridiculous small two bite side salad with little to no salad dressing as if it was being rationed. I ordered the Crawfish Cajun Pasta...maybe living on the coast for 10 years and all, I may have been spoiled by really tasty Crawfish Cajun Pasta, I dunno. The crawfish tasted old and maybe even reheated or microwaved, and the pasta was in a dish of watered down what I'm assuming was supposed to be a sauce. It had flavor, but it wasn't a sauce that stuck to the pasta with the dried out crawfish tails. The best part was the bread which was amazing along withe the sweet iced tea, but couldn't get a refill until the end of the meal. So unfortunately, a BIG Thumbs down, and I probably won't be back; I had such high hopes.
