We moved my mom from an assisted living community to Lakeside at Amelia Memory Care about three weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The transition was smooth, and everyone went out of their way to ensure it was a positive experience for both my mom and our family. Every time we visit, my mom is full of joy. The facility is clean, bright, and inviting. A special shout-out to the staff for organizing a support group for relatives and friends of residents.
Lakeside is a beautiful residence for independent senior living. Besides all of the amenities offered, what makes it most special is Mimi, who guided us every step of the way and was always available with a warm heart, listening ear, helping hand and direction whenever we needed it. We are so grateful.
She had never seen her apartment prior to moving in and was delighted to discover how spacious it was. It truly looked as if it had never been lived in. She adores her patio and enjoys the beautiful sunrise views every morning. Gwen, her housekeeper, has been incredibly kind and does a fantastic job. Kerby Hyde was immensely helpful throughout the decision-making and transition process, doing everything she could to find an apartment that Mom would love. Even after the sale, she has remained available to assist us in any way possible. The entire property is beautiful and excellently maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always eager to help. While COVID continues to impose restrictions on the dining experience, which likely affects both the quality of the food and the staff needed to prepare and serve it, we genuinely have nothing but positive things to say about the facility. My parents moved into The Lakeside independent living community two months ago, and they are really enjoying all it has to offer. They appreciate the friendly staff, savor the meals, take part in exercise classes, and love walking their dog along the lovely trail next to the property. We're grateful for the progressive care options available, as my mother will likely need assisted living down the line. Overall, we are very happy with The Lakeside!
The staff at The Lakeside at Amelia Island are fantastic! They truly go above and beyond to assist residents and their families in every possible way. The facilities are stunning and resemble a resort. The food is not only delicious but also healthy! Residents enjoy a three-course dinner, complete with wine, all included in their rent. Breakfast is also provided and is excellent! Everyone here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The Lakeside offers a variety of wonderful activities that residents can take part in if they choose. I have nothing but positive remarks about this place!
