Yamato Steak House Of Japan - Florence

First time eating here. Take out order. Spent $110 for them to forget yum, yum sauce which is no biggie we live 3 mins away, went back due to error just to pickup sauce. When I got there they tried to charge me $11, for just sauce? I finally made it back home to eat and the food is mediocre. Will not be back.

I typically like to leave positive reviews but this restaurant is the worst place I've visited in years. The coolest thing about the restaurant was the robot delivering food. We ordered fried dumplings, steak hibachi and chicken hibachi no soup or salad. I asked for yum yum sauce as well. Our server was nice at first but once we told her the food was cold she was a different person. The food also was unseasoned, the veggies just had sauce and the rice only had egg but was super soggy. Once we told her the food was cold she immediately went to the other coworkers and started speaking another language and also took our plates and was throwing the food. People in the restaurant were looking at us like we did something wrong. She slammed the trifold on our table with the ticket and was extremely rude to the point where it made me uncomfortable. We paid for the dumpling and drinks but left as soon as we finished paying. I don't recommend this place at all. I lost my entire appetite after eating here.

The food here is amazing and Meade fresh to order. No standing in line at a buffet waiting for more sushi or food to come out. However, it is an all you can eat restaurant, or u til they feel like you are done! We took a friend there for her birthday and have been there so many times before with no issues. This time, the waitress purposely ignores us and a kids our table. Finally after 20 minutes, she approaches us and ask are we ready for the check? I replied no we need another sheet to order more. She the said to me, your not done yet? We were all in shock. We made it a point to order more as we should have been allowed anyway as it is All you can eat!!!!It upset me that for our friend 's birthday, we were shamed for enjoying a meal we had every right too! May wanna rethink going here due to the rudeness of the waitress.

Great place to go. Very nice staff that were super friendly and they've also got those cute robots that bring you stuff if you dine in. Only took like 10-15 minutes for them to prepare our take out. I got a couple different kinds of sushi and all of them were super good. Especially the eel roll. Will DEFINITELY be coming back.

I used to love this restaurant. We'd go here for almost every occasion, at least twice a month, if not more. The sushi chef said he hates making changes, so now they charge $1 per roll per change for any edits. This is on top of the $30/ person. The quality is the same, maybe a little lower, so definitely not worth it anymore. Very sad. This change is definitely going to cost them a lot of business.
