However, I've noticed that the chicken tenders can sometimes be a bit small – it varies. Overall, I still enjoy the food. That said, after my visit on January 10, 2022, I spent $11 and unfortunately got food poisoning. I've never had an issue like this before, and I've decided not to order the baked potato salad again, no matter how tasty it was. I'm not entirely sure if the potato salad caused the problem, but I hope it wasn't the chicken because I genuinely enjoy this place. Sadly, I won’t be coming back for a while, as this experience left me quite afraid of going through it again.

The food at Rick's Barbecue is absolutely exceptional. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. The meats are outstanding, b... read more I really wanted to give this restaurant a 5-star rating, but the side dishes on the menu don’t quite match the quality of the meat. The meats are outstanding, but sides like baked beans and potato salad taste like an afterthought, lacking any real flavor. You can tell they have a great base, but it feels like they’re not completely dedicated to making the overall experience spectacular.
