Unique food with outdoor seating.
This was a special find. Yeah, big name restaraunts, reviews, famous chefs, blah, blah, blah... Here a friend 's referral introduced us to an experience I might well consider driving from Portland to repeat. Start with the menu Eastern European. Stuffed grape leaves, salmon rolled in nuts, goulash, mussels on pasta, hamburgers; I 've never seen such a varied and intriguing selection. We were a foursome and each of us was absolutely delighted with diverse choice. Did I mention stuffed peppers? The service was attentive without being overwhelming. A modest, but apt wine list satisfied the ladies ' tastes, but I chose (at the waiter 's suggestion) a microbrew beer available only locally. It was extremely suitable and was so tasty that I emailed the brewer disappointment, it is not available publicly.This is a must try advice from a guy who travels frequently and eats heartily.Five stars? Should be 7... don 't miss your opportunity to say, I ate there before they were famous .
1st visit: Highly recommend them! Mari Lane do a superb job in preparing, grilling serving their Fresh Food. I thoroughly enjoyed the Clam Chowder (instead of salad @upcharge) the Crab Shrimp Burger. Between the way it was cooked the sauce...it was a Melt in your Mouth wanting even more Sandwich. Plus the Romanian potato salad was Excellent. My husband had the Romanian Beef Goulash which he promptly consumed the entire dish. You might want to consider Reservations, as they are very popular! Oh, their Desserts are Super Delicious!!!
The seafood Alfredo was the best. The Alfredo was so creamy and buttery.
If I had to describe this place in 1 word, I would say DIVINE! From the moment you step foot through the door, the owner makes you feel like family. The food was INCREDIBLE.... every dish had such depth of flavor and takes you to a whole new level. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I will recommend the Maple Street Grill to anyone and everyone wanting a unique and divine experience. Can't wait to visit Florence and this place again.
