Most of t... read more We had the best meal at Ora while in Florence. The staff were so nice and helpful and the food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful. Most of the menu is vegan and is clearly labelled. Booking is probably a good idea, as it got quite busy around 8pm.

We loved the food and ended up full and satisfied. Definitely recommend their vegan cheesecake! I only wish some of the dishes weren 't trying so hard to be vegan versions of meat dishes and the place just went full into veggie creativity instead, but that 's more of a fantasy afterthought than a complain. We had the hummus trio, vegan “burger” and the vegan omelette. The lovely waiter also bought us out some morsels to try as well (including zucchini soup). All up I really enjoyed the meal, it was refreshing and a bit different. This place leans more towards a “fancy” vibe. My only suggestion would be I think a bit more complexity is needed to be added to the food to pull off this “fancy” vibe. Eg the “burger” Is more of a “deconstructed” dish with just the patty, spinach, a few slices of potato and some sauces. It was tasty, but didn’t offer any more complex flavours and textures than an actual burger. Just tasted like a regular patty. I think a bit more reinventing is needed on that dish, particularly for 15 eur!
