I highly recommend coming in the morning to avoid waiting in line. The taste here is the best among the three other stores I’ve visited in Florence.
The portion size was decent and the flavor was good overall. It was a nice experience to try the famous Florentine lampredotto sandwich, but personally I didn’t find it particularly amazing or unforgettable. Still worth trying if you’re curious about local food.
Delicious Panino Lampredotto and Panino Bollito! The place was packed but it was fun to watch the panini being made fresh in front of us. The service was quick and the servers were friendly too.

Lampredotto is a must-get when you're visiting Florence! We tried the lambredotto in tomato sauce and it was amazing, the meat itself was juicy, fatty, and has a chewy texture, similar to eating tripe. It paired really well with the crunchiness of the bread and it soaked the sauce really well. I recommend getting the green hot sauce too to add more dimension to the flavor. There's quite a number of places within the city that sells Lambredotto but Da Nerbone is just such a stable place to get yours while in the Central Market! Line can be a bit slow when its crowded due to the canteen style service but I think its worth it. Very affordable too.
