We arrived after a long day in a terrible heat due to the heat wave at B.O.r.G.O. gabriele immediately felt comfortable with his warm and energetic reception. t... read more We arrived after a long day in a terrible heat due to the heat wave at B.O.r.G.O. gabriele immediately felt comfortable with his warm and energetic reception. the POS machine did not work this day, but we were glad that we went to a nearby cash machine to withdraw some money and returned to have dinner at B.O.r.G.O as planned. gabriele and B.O.r.G.O have a special and unique intention for the place that is very well reflected in the menu, the wine list and the attitude and the service. we had an amazing time and wished we could come back for more. I was so surprised to be offered a beautiful amuse-bouche to eat. the dishes were delicious, authentic florence but not the typical menu that you can see in any other restaurant. I and my friend wanted to share the food and even share the share for us. the wee that we chose on a bizarre recommendation, smells so good and tasty. I can't recommend this place very much. they will love the food, but gave birth to more. (btw is the toilet clean and pleasant)

Intimate and quiet restaurant where gabriele immediately puts you at ease and every dish is described to you with a great passion and you immediately understand that it will be all exquisite. no dish has disappointed us, here are not the classic menus of the Tuscan cuisine that are found everywhere, but from local products are prepared excellent recipes simple and delicious excellent wine and homemade desserts, really good! I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, prices in the media, but definitely well spent!

It again topped our restaurant... read more We had been to B.O.r.G.O five years ago during our last trip to Italy, and were so pleased to find the restaurant survived COVID. It again topped our restaurant list during this most recent visit to Florence...eating their multiple times! B.O.r.G.O is a small, friendly, local, farm-to-table inspired restaurant. The Chef both hosts and helps prepare the meals, and is a delight. The menu is an ingenious blend of unique and comforting dishes, differentiating itself from the more common Italian cuisine found in most of Florence's restaurants. Thanks Chef for the special memories!
