I used to enjoy the food at this restaurant, but it has really gone downhill. I will not be coming back. The staff were not very attentive. I spent $50 on takeaway for 2 people. The crispy chilli chicken tasted like it had been reheated too many times, with hardly any chicken and a plastic-like batter. The sauce with the corn cob was unpleasant. The Surf Turf Pad Thai was burnt, with only 1 prawn and very little meat, if any at all. Overall, it was a terrible dinner experience.
I had the best Massaman Curry in Perth at this restaurant! The drunken noodles were spicy and delicious as well. The staff were lovely and provided great service. Thank you for bringing authentic and delicious food to our suburb.
The customer service at this restaurant was very lacking. During dinner, we received no acknowledgment from the staff and had to constantly grab their attention to be seated, receive a menu, place our order, order more items, and check on a delayed item. It seems like they may be understaffed or unprofessional and disorganized. Additionally, it would be better if the staff wore more appropriate work attire instead of gym wear with shorts. Despite these issues, the food itself was actually quite good.
Braved the foul weather tonight to go to ThaiTation to select some takeaway meals, Our first time to this restaurant. We had the signature Crispy Chicken with Chilli Basil sauce devine; the Beef Pad See Ew (staff recommendation lovely flavour, beef just a little too chewy, and the Chicken Fried Rice also very nice. All in all, very nice meal; produce tasted fresh and no residue MSG/or oily taste after...very refreshing! Lovely friendly staff. Happy to call this our local now! Highly recommend. As a previous and recent Restaurant owner, my challenge for this restaurant is how they manage 'Uber pick ups '. As I waited for our food (which wasn 't long! I watched Uber guys picking up meals and I would find it extremely annoying to have people in and out the front door, throwing their insulated backpacks down, ready for pick ups, whilst dining in the restaurant. There was only one table of x 4 dining in while I was there, but they were seated right in the path of random scruffy Uber people. Can you not use a back door for Uber? This is not aimed soley at ThaiTration, but all Restaurants now. Some thought needs to go into the process to make it seamless for front of house.
