We have been getting takeout from Fu House for several years now and we are never let down. The staff is friendly, the food is always ready on time, and it is delicious and hot! They also have a 5-star hygiene rating.
The food at this restaurant was fresh, delicious, and truly authentic. We tried a variety of dishes including prawns with ginger, duck with vegetables, beef with OK sauce, chicken curry, salt and pepper ribs, and chicken and cashew nuts. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal!
I ordered Special Fried Rice and Singapore Vermicelli tonight. I wish I had chosen the Special Curry or Kung Po instead, as they are usually very good. There was hardly any meat in either dish, just a few small prawns and thin pieces of beef in the vermicelli. There was no char sui or chicken, which was disappointing considering the price of £7.30 per dish. It would have been fine if we were vegetarian, but we are not. Overall, the experience was very poor.

I don’t usually leave reviews in fact this is my first TripAdvisor review but I couldn’t not after the amazing quality food we had tonight. We’ve tried pretty much every local Chinese takeaway but this one by far beats the rest. Only downside is delivery isn’t offered but honestly I can overlook that because of the food! Food was freshly made, piping hot and delicious with flavour. Prices are very reasonable and staff are lovely. Best in the area by far and will be returning. Thank you for the great service!
