I ordered two... read more I'm not usually one to give low ratings, but my experience was truly disappointing. The only positives were the sweet tea and the friendly staff. I ordered two pounds of boiled shrimp, but they were tough and lacking flavor. The boiled mushrooms arrived cold, and the potatoes had no taste. When I requested melted butter, they were completely out. I've been to this restaurant during crawfish season, and it was fantastic, so I hope this was just an off day.

I had the boudin and gator balls, and they were so good, just like you'd find in Louisiana!

We ordered one and a half pounds of spicy boiled shrimp, but it was overcooked and tough like leather. There aren’t many dining options in the area, but I definitely won’t be coming back. The place felt unprofessional, and it seemed like a bunch of kids were running it, probably cooking the food as well. Don't waste your money on this overpriced food.

I could hardly call it sea... read more The food was incredibly disappointing. My order was messed up twice, and when it finally arrived, it certainly wasn’t worth the wait. I could hardly call it seafood. Without a doubt, it was the worst meal I’ve ever had. The grilled shrimp was drenched in butter and salt—so over-seasoned that I took one bite and ended up tossing the rest away. My husband’s fish platter was just as salty, to the extent that the flavor of the fish was completely masked! Overall, we should have listened to our friends' warnings. They advised us against trying this place, yet we decided to give it a chance anyway. It turned out to be a big mistake, and we will never come back!

The catfish was freshly fried and crispy. We loved sitting out on the deck while the kids played. Here’s a picture of our empty plates!
