The texture was delightful; it wasn't overly sweet, which made it quite enjoyable. I loved the topping but would have preferred if there was more of it.
I would definitely eat it again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Flinders Fish Chips:
This restaurant is quite expensive, and the quality of the food does not justify the prices. The burger patty was really hard, making it difficult to enjoy. Charging $8 for just a patty and salad is excessive. On top of that, I had to pay an extra $2 for two small, thin slices of tomato and another $2 for a slice of cheese. In total, the burger cost $14, and my son could only eat half of it because it was so tough. View all feedback.
Nearly $27 for one piece of flake, 2 scallops and minimum chips!! Staggering price!Bought on 25/9/22The fish and scallops were nice but the uranium coloured chips were so bland and almost tasteless I fed them to the seagulls.
Our King George whiting was nice fresh and moist with crispy batter.Unfortunately our meal was destroyed by the chips being completely smothered in a ridiculous amount of salt and we had to throw them out they were inedible (you can see the salt in the picture I have posted). It looked like an entire shaker was dumped on the chips. We were not asked if we wanted salt and even if we did nobody wants that amount of salt. For the they are charging you want outstanding fish and chips this fell way short of that.
Very disappointed this time. Paid $26 for 2 very small pieces of grilled Whiting. Wouldn't go back after today's experience, too expensive.Food: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
