I love this place. The food is awesome, the staff is awesome and the pies are out of this world. One of my favorite places.

A comfy cozy small town diner where the people are friendly and the food is delicious! All home made including the pies! Service is fast. The people that work here are extremely kind and personable. Cash or check only! Come early because there can be a line at times. But even if you do have to wait in line, you get beautiful views of the local park and Huron River. Must visit!

Stopped in at 11am on a Thursday for breakfast. Very friendly service, good omelet and pancakes. But the pies! We got the last fruit pie (blueberry) and last lemon meringue (although they where making more lemon while we were there). Both pies fabulous, piled high with filling and the meringue is almost 3 high. Perfect amount of sweetness. The bottom crust was good and not soggy. Only negative was the edge crust that lies on the pie plate is so thick you need a sharp knife to cut through it. But that didn 't stop us for going back the next weekend for apple and strawberry rhubarb (excellent) and ordering today for Mother 's Day)!
