All of the staff were marvelous f... read more Everything about this restaurant was a 10 out of 10! We have dined all over the world in many fine restaurants. This is a gem! All of the staff were marvelous from the moment we walked in th door until we left. Our server was so sweet and friendly and knowledgeable. I have celiac and must eat gluten free. She was helpful with the menu and pointed out what I couldn't eat but there were still many items that I could eat. We were celebrating my husband's bday and she acknowledged that right away. They have an amazing wine list... we are a bit picky and they had some of our favs that not many restaurants offer. They had gluten free bread to sub on the roasted garlic appetizer. The filet was so tasty. Desserts were amazing. They separated or removed the gluten so I could enjoy almost everything. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It is very small so they do require a credit card for the reservation. Great place for a special occasion or date night! Thanks Tinderbox staff!!

I have a gluten allergy... read more My husband and I went here for his birthday, the little note from staff was thoughtful. We ordered the tasting menu which was 5 courses. I have a gluten allergy and the chefs did the full tasting menu with adjustments for my allergy. I really appreciated that immensely because it can be tough to find GF food in Flagstaff. Anyone who says the food here is mediocre is full of it. The quality of the ingredients and the obvious care they take in the development of flavor combos/profiles makes it in no way mediocre. The food is very well cooked, dare I say perfectly. My ONLY complaint was some of the components were slightly over salted. We loved every single course. Wait staff was perfect and very attentive.

Our entrées were delicious. My husband had a great fish and chips order. I ordered the chicken pot pie. Ithad large chunks of chicken, vegetables, and a delightful lemon flavor that I?ve never had before. It was very tasty and thecrust was perfect-flaky and crisp. Unfortunately, the craft cocktails didn?t hit the mark and the greens and lime wedge werelimp/old. I would go there again, but probably select wine for my beverage.

The staff were not only courteous and charming, they also had excellent recommendations that made the experience so much better! Their cocktails were made properly and garnished with freshingredients. The food was absolutely amazing! We received a recommendation for the burger medium rare and the Mac Cheese withchorizo and green chilies: delicious and flavourful. One part I found particularly great was we were not rushed out of therestaurant to make room for the next guests even though they were filling up. Overall this is one of the places I wouldrecommend to anyone who is looking for an excellent dining experience!!!
