Taverna Modern Mediterranean

Great restaurant! Food was excellent (had a Taverna Bowl). Not classic Greek fare but an excellent blend of flavors. Service and atmosphere were top notch.

Good food, the waiter was very kind, the problem arrived with the bill, there is a surcharge of 8% over the Tax and service! I am in Vacation and I do not want to discuss during my relax time, but I'd like to advice everyone about extra fee! For me not fair should be clear since the beginning!

The menu here is not especially extensive, but that's not a bad thing. What Taverna does, they do well. We enjoyed the gyro sandwich (with Greek salad) and the chicken pita (with Caesar salad). Both were generous helpings for a very reasonable price. The house Pinot Grigio was an excellent value during happy hour.

Nice options of Greek platters. Very large helpings . Service was great. Open vibe but could hear clatter. I ordered skewers and beef was very rare. All in all unique menu, just didn't match make the mark.

I went here twice during my trip to Arizona, and it was absolutely the best. Big shout out to Grady, who took care of us.The pesto pasta, Greek salad, 3 Little Pigs, and Moussaka were phenomenal. Next time I visit, I’ll be back here!
