Swaddee Thai Cuisine
Description
Swaddee Thai Cuisine offers a mix of experiences, from delightful dishes to some disappointing encounters. Guests have raved about standout offerings like crispy tofu, Pad Thai, and the flavorsome Masaman Curry, often noting the cozy atmosphere and attentive service. However, several patrons have raised concerns over food quality and hygiene, citing issues like hair and flies in dishes, as well as inconsistencies in portion sizes. Despite some negative feedback regarding oil quality and declining taste, the restaurant remains a favorite for its exceptional hospitality and authentic flavors. A visit promises both culinary delights and local charm.

This was our first time to swaddee and we will for sure go back. I highly recommend this place. I’ve never written a review on a restaurant before but felt compelled because it was such an great experience in every way. We had the satay and the fresh roll appetizers and shared the cashew chicken entree. All phenomenal! Beautiful relaxing environment with comfortable private booth. Soft soothing oriental background music. Our two young servers; Elena and just were outstanding! Prompt, pleasant, professional. Really wonderful at their work. And the cost of our meal including a cocktail each, tax and tip just $65! If you like Thai food get here!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We jumped at the opportunity to take the seat for two by the front window, and it provided optimal lighting for our food photos. It’s been said that we eat with our eyes first, and the attention to detail by the kitchen proved it. The combination appetizer was enjoyable to behold, but the fried wontons were so out of their league here, as far as taste is concerned. The pineapple fried rice was fresh with bite sized chunks of fruit, cooked cashews and yellow curried rice. The cook on the shrimp was perfect, not chewy and not stringy. The Thai custard finished us off, delicious and creamy, almost soufflé like. It was a meal worth its price tag. 6/18/25: Had dinner and all the dishes were great. They were vegetarian cashew tofu, ginger delight shrimp, papaya salad. Meals can be customized somewhat to be vegetarian. Great food, reasonably priced, pleasant atmosphere, and very nice hosts. The 1 to 5 heat rating allows you to pick the level of heat you can handle. I love Tom Ka Ghai, and was not disappointed.
My partner and I absolutely adore this place! The lunch special offers fantastic value, and at $10.95, it’s the most affordable Thai lunch deal in town. I highly recommend the Yellow Curry with chicken at Spicy Level 4. I could genuinely eat this every day and never grow tired of it.
