I’ve been here several times with friends but the food and service has not been consistent. Our last visit, we waited about 30 min for a table despite the restaurant having half the tables open. Fine, maybe they are short staffed but on the Saturday? Also, parking can be a nightmare here! After getting seated, we waited another 15 min just for someone to greet us. By then, someone else was seated across from us and they got greeted almost immediately. Another table to the next of us had been waiting long than us and was getting frustrated while waiting to order food. I could see 2 servers aimlessly walking around behind the counter area and waiting only on the first couple tables near them. Eventually, we were able to order. By then we were starving but unfortunately, free chips/salsa are not provided like most Mexican restaurants. The food is ok but looks better than it tastes. I’ve found it is much more salty than prior visits. I’ll be trying a different restaurant the next time I’m in the area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I originally chose this restaurant for brunch because I saw they did breakfast all day, but then I read a review that someone had breakfast tacos here which are my fav and I insisted we go Our meals were SO delicious and they give HUGE portions. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly too! I ordered the chilaquiles and instead of meat I got grilled seitan- soooo delicious! My friend got the enchilada y huevo and said it was great. He also got a side of pancakes and they were so big he couldn’t finish them! I got an horchata latte and it was amazing we both enjoyed our hashbrowns and he said his coffee was just what he needed beautiful art all over the restaurant and it’s for sale. The wait wasn’t long (busy on a late Thursday morning is a good sign to me! and the seating in the waiting area is comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to my out of town guests- bring them here! Gavin our waiter was really cool, you’ll be well attended if you sit in his section ️ We got lucky and parked right by the door but the lot isn’t super big and someone asked us for our parking spot when we came out. In a great location downtown, convenient to so much Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

This is our second time eating here and we ordered our food to go. We were impressed that the food tasted the same and the portions were just as big.

Our first visit. Would have visited sooner, but parking is limited and difficult to find downtown. I had the breakfast special tamale benedict (see specials board pictured). I know it sounds odd, but it worked out well. Loved the pinto beans and the hash browns. She had the ham cheese omelet which she really liked. We have had breakfast many times at MX themed restaurants and would have to say this was the best we've had.Service was good after waiting 15 min. for a table. Artwork on the walls is outstanding. Chinese lanterns all over seemed odd.
