Unfortunately, t... read more The food is always freshly made, with generous portions and amazing flavor. Their burritos are massive and packed with your choice of fillings. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. I've dined here over a dozen times since finally giving it a shot. I often bring out-of-town guests to enjoy the delicious food, but I always warn them that the service might not be great. Typically, there's only one server due to the restaurant's size, so they’re often rushing between tables. They take your order quickly but usually don’t return until it’s time to deliver your food, making it difficult to get beverage refills, salsa, or any other requests. Unfortunately, this slow service seems to be a common issue in Flagstaff. However, during my last visit, there was a waitress I hadn’t seen before, sporting a Wizard of Oz tattoo and a bubbly personality. Despite being busy, she treated every customer with care and attention, making for a much better experience.

Our last visit, we waited about 30 min for a table despite the restaurant having half the tables open. Fine, maybe they are short staffed but on the Saturday? Also, parking can be a nightmare here! After getting seated, we waited another 15 min just for someone to greet us. By then, someone else was seated across from us and they got greeted almost immediately. Another table to the next of us had been waiting long than us and was getting frustrated while waiting to order food. I could see 2 servers aimlessly walking around behind the counter area and waiting only on the first couple tables near them. Eventually, we were able to order. By then we were starving but unfortunately, free chips/salsa are not provided like most Mexican restaurants. The food is ok but looks better than it tastes.
