Went for Father's Day Brunch which was served as a buffet. Food Selection was very good and delicious. However, it went unacknowledged... read more My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday, which I noted in the special notes section in my Open Table reservation. However, it went unacknowledged as if it were just another dinner out. Not a happy birthday, not a special card, nor a candle in the dessert. Other places have done small gestures as this, but not Josephine 's. I was disappointed. Besides the event being ignored, the little room we were in (only 3 tables) was chilly and loud. My boyfriend 's filet mignon dinner was wonderful, my chicken dish was merely okay. The chicken was on the dry side, the beets seemed over-roasted and the butternut squash risotto seemed overdone. Thank goodness the creme brulee (my boyfriend 's favorite dessert) was a hit. The server seemed nice and knew the menu well.

The food was great but I feel the servers need more training, a... read more Yesterday was my first time in this restaurant. The initial service so far was very lack luster. The food was great but I feel the servers need more training, and managers need to pay more attention to the establishment. I ordered a dollar bottle of champagne, to which I had to open myself. I later tried to ask for another bottle but was never able to gain the attention of the server. They never checked back on me to see how everything was or if I needed anything else. No one explained anything about the wine, I feel servers are severely lacking wine knowledge in general. Again, it’s a shame: The food was great, but I also should be paying for great service.
