We love this restaurant for breakfast! We make sure to stop by every time we’re in Flagstaff. The eggs Benedict is the best I’ve ever had! They put an amazing hollandaise sauce on it and it’s just super saucy over all.We loved the iced chai, as well as the special drinks they have. View all feedback.
What Jamie Weleber dislikes about Forêt Flg:
In a word: disappointing. We ordered scrambled eggs and a breakfast burrito, both of which were bland and lacking in flavor. The coffee and drinks were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but overall, the kitchen didn't serve anything I would want to eat again. View all feedback.
Bad food, bad price, bad wait. You give up a lot in exchange for Atmosphere . Will not be back.
Excellent ambiance. A little pricey, but the food quality is excellent to back it up.
Walking in, the music has you in a trance. There were 3 young people rocking the dj set. That has me in a mood for my first ever experience at Foret. Ordered my mocha and the attention to detail can be seen in my photo. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the flavor emanating from the hollandaise sauce was to die for. There was an explosion of taste in your mouth that could only be topped if I added a side of crispy potatoes, which sadly I did not. The only snag came when my mother's food order was missing and as an understanding of their mistake they still brought it out to her but comped her meal. We were not in a hurry and when walked in we were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour for our food, and like I said we enjoyed the music vibe.Dietary restrictions: The have a few gluten free options, my mom ordered the croquet madame as gfa. Check the menu for other choices.
It 's OK. The breakfast items we had (egg Sammie sandwich and a la carte egg and cheese croissant) were decent, but expensive. There seems to be some resistance to putting an item on the bread of your choice. That is a very European attitude, which wasn 't a big deal, but it 's definitely not have it your way. I have to give them points for the pastries. It is so difficult to find high quality, authentic French pastries. However, charging $5 for a mini pain au chocolat and $4.5 for a mini canele seems excessive and makes them not quite as tasty. Seriously, they are the size of hor d 'oeuvres. All in all, it cost $70 for two breakfast sandwiches, 2 cans of seltzer, a specialty coffee and a half dozen mini pastries. It was my fault for not asking about the prices on the pastries and assuming they would be no more than a couple of bucks a piece. I did have sticker shock when they rang up our stuff. Overall, good food but overpriced with a snobby vibe. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
