I went with my friends to this restaurant across the river about this chicken place. We ordered the highly requested Chips and gravy roll. It tasted crispy and delicious. The bread was a little stale and crunchy for my taste but the Chips and gravy was the best part of the meal. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Worst service ever for the best chips in sydney. My 89 year old.mother was faster than they are. Luckily the end result is the best hot chips in the inner west. Even rang my order through one day and still they hadn't started when I arrived. View all feedback.
Great place to eat BEST CHIPS I HAVE EVER TASTED and I have been to Queensland and Melbourne, also good pricing and they fill up to the top they don't leave any gaps with chips. GReat customer service as well staff are friendly enjoy going there
I ordered a family meal deal that included a whole rotisserie chicken, tabouli salad, chips, gravy, and a 1.25L soft drink. We served it with homemade bread rolls and potato salad. The chicken was tender with crispy skin and there was enough food for everyone.
Juicy! Huge! Tasty! The brisket burger was moist and flavourful. I’d recommend removing the pickles as they overpower the charcoal flavour of the brisket. The krunchy chicken burger was really tender but the coleslaw made the fillet less crunchy than anticipated. Both were still delicious. Possibly the best chips in Sydney! Easy to see why there was a long line of customers on Sunday.
If I had this in my local area I’d be back quite often. I tried the brisket delicious and super juicy. The short rib is nothing short of magic also delicious and super tender. The chicken burger is generously portioned, love the meat to bread and sauce ratio, a very balanced burger. If you like your beef burger meaty I recommend ordering the beef burger as a double or even triple (the single beef burger patty wasn’t enough for me but it cannot fault the flavour). Love love love the chips, perfectly cooked and crispy, I can tell the oil was very clean and fresh at the time, and I like the beef gravy on top. Local gem!
This is my go-to spot for a quick bite after work. The charcoal chicken and chips are definitely their specialty and I think they are the best in Sydney. I also suggest trying their burgers, they are delicious. One thing I really appreciate is that the owner, Milad, is always working in the shop rather than just leaving it to his staff. I believe this is one of the reasons the food quality is consistently high. Thank you to the team for your great service throughout the years.
