Lau's Five Dock - FIVE DOCK
Lau's Five Dock
Description
**Baysia Restaurant: A Mixed Culinary Journey**
Nestled within Canada Bay Club, Baysia Restaurant offers a range of experiences that have left diners divided. While some praise its generous portions, friendly service, and delightful atmosphere, others express disappointment in the food's quality and authenticity. Dishes like BBQ pork in plum sauce have garnered positive reviews, though some find the offerings lack the expected vibrancy of traditional Chinese cuisine. The restaurant's spacious layout makes it suitable for events, but the ambiance can feel cafeteria-like during busy periods. Despite a few flaws, Baysia remains a family-friendly spot with potential for a bright culinary future.

This is likely the least Chinese or Asian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our table needed to request chopsticks and bowls. The food wasn’t particularly impressive, and the portion sizes were small, although that might not be a bad thing. The one highlight was the staff; they were helpful and friendly. Perhaps if your experience with Chinese cuisine is limited, you might enjoy it more. Service: Dine in.
