Instead you need to go down a long set of steps to a si... read more I agree with a previous review that it's strange that the obvious, street level, entrance is not in use. Instead you need to go down a long set of steps to a side entrance. Once inside we found it to be very dimly lit and quiet. The restaurant is away from the town center and I would expect it to be busy as there are no other restaurants nearby. There were several menu options but difficult for us Brits to understand what things were (I could hardly read the menu as it was so dark). Once we had ordered the food came out quickly and was delicious, although the burgers were not listed as being served with fries so we also ordered fries as a starter! Although the staff were kind, when it came time to pay we were expecting the bill to be brought to the table and whenever we tried to get some attention we were ignored we got quite frustrated so went up to the bar, that appears to have been the right thing to do as the owner was very friendly at that point! I think this place should be a lot more popular than it is as they're really trying some interesting options (including vegan and vegetarian). Unfortunately the Irish spirit seems to have disappeared, I hope it comes back.

This restaurant was recommended to us and when... read more We arrived quite late at our hotel on a Monday night and were very limited with restaurants that were not closed. This restaurant was recommended to us and when we arrived we were seated and served by very friendly and enthusiastic staff, food was really good and while they didn't have a menu in English, the staff made great efforts to translate for us.
