On my visit Saturda... read more I’ve always loved Panera Bread deeply, but my experiences at this particular location have gone from great to terrible since I moved nearby. On my visit Saturday, 8/6/22, just after noon when the staff were clearly busy, the order takers were amazing—friendly, communicative, and quick to suggest using the convenient self-service kiosks. Many customers, including myself, used the kiosks to place orders and receive text notifications when ready. However, the problem arose when I heard the manager loudly complaining about customers giving their last names when ordering. This made the customers feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. In reality, when ordering via kiosk with text notifications, the system automatically shows the name as first initial and last name, likely drawn from caller ID, which is actually very clever. It was disappointing that the staff member was unaware—or simply didn’t care—that this was the intended functionality of the kiosk system. Despite the convenient menu options and efficient ordering process, this negative interaction greatly affected my opinion of this Panera Bread location.

The establishment was clean, and there was ample parking... read more I had an excellent experience at this Panera location, largely due to the outstanding customer service. The establishment was clean, and there was ample parking available. Kaden, the cashier, was not only professional but also exceptionally kind. I spent three hours there, and he greeted each customer with a warm "Welcome to Panera!" as soon as they walked in, and wished them a "Have a great day" as they left. This was my second visit to any Panera, and I noticed several "You Pick 2" signs; I wasn’t sure what that meant, but Kaden took the time to explain the promotion to me. He also went over the rewards card options in detail. There were a few other customers who came in with questions, and Kaden handled them with confidence, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the menu and inventory. The team is fortunate to have someone like him. When I went to pick up my food, another staff member was very friendly as well; unfortunately, I didn't catch her name since I couldn't see her name tag. Overall, the crew seems really nice! As for the food, I really enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli rice bowl. I also tried the Broccoli Cheddar soup, but I found it a bit too creamy for my taste. I would recommend adding a bit more seasoning and perhaps a touch less cheese, as it was quite overwhelming. That said, portion sizes are generous—what initially seemed small was satisfying enough to leave me feeling full. I had the option to choose between free chips or an apple, and I opted for the apple. My total came to approximately $18-19 (not including tips), which I think is slightly on the pricey side, but the quality of the food justifies it.

Their iced coffee is strong, and they provide a great variety of milk options at the coffee bar. It's unfortunate that I don't visit this area more often. Among all the Panera locations I've been to, this one undoubtedly ranks as one of the best.

I r... read more I'm not sure why Panera consistently gets my order wrong whenever I visit. It doesn't matter which location I go to, but my most recent visit was the worst. I received a completely different sandwich from the one I ordered! I’ve decided that I won’t be returning to this restaurant again.
