Mcdonald's - Fishkill
Mcdonald's
Description
In a recent visit to a local McDonald's, patrons experienced a mix of highs and lows. While some diners praised the friendly and attentive service, noting the establishment's cleanliness and staff ownership, others expressed disappointment with the food quality, particularly the fries, which were often overcooked and excessively salty. Though the innovative decor and accessible seating were appreciated, inconsistent food preparation and cleanliness issues detracted from the overall experience. Despite these challenges, the restaurant's accommodating staff and reliable service left a positive impression on many regulars, suggesting that with some culinary improvements, this location could shine brighter in the fast-food landscape.

Next time I come in, I will definitely be avoiding the old, dried-out, oily fries like the plague. They were horrible. I hate to sound negative, but their fries were just not good at all. I couldn't even taste them properly, probably because of the ongoing COVID situation. Hopefully, they step up their game soon.
I visited the drive-thru and ordered medium fries, a quarter pound with cheese, and a 6-piece nugget. They gave me a number that was not available, and when I received my food, the fries looked overcooked and not fresh. I went inside and received overcooked fries again, which were also extremely salty. You would think that at 11:30 everything would be fresh and properly cooked.
The wallpaper was intriguing, the service was great, but I've never been a fan of the tables at McDonald's. There are plenty of accessible tables for wheelchair users.
My wife and I were eating inside. No problem with food or service. My problem was an employee was cleaning tables walked by a napkin on the floor looked at it and just walked away leaving it on the floor.
