The garlic knots at Antonella's were disappointing—very dry and seemed to have only garlic powder, with no real garlic flavor. The buffalo chicken pizza featured oddly soggy breaded chicken, which was off-putting. The calzone was okay but unusual; it felt more like a folded-over pizza with a huge amount of toppings rather than a traditional calzone. It was tasty enough, but definitely a bit strange—maybe it tore open in the oven? Antonella's menu certainly marches to the beat of its own drum. Some people I know love it, so it might be worth trying, but I’d recommend skipping the garlic knots elsewhere.
The specialty slices at Antonella's are quite tasty, and the individual slices ($3.95) are noticeably larger than those from even a large cheese pizza ($18.95), where the slices tend to be smaller. While I understand inflation is impacting prices everywhere, paying $27.50 for a large plain pie and an order of garlic knots seems a bit expensive to me.
