Sheetz - Fishersville
Sheetz
Description
Sheetz in Fishersville, VA, is a convenient 24/7 highway stop with gas, a car wash and quick grab-and-go fare. Guests often find friendly, speedy service, tasty fries, smoothies and good coffee, plus tidy, well‑lit facilities and easy I‑64 access. However, consistency is an issue: orders and portions can be incorrect or short, substitutions (like no buns or spicy items) occur, and staff demeanor varies. Ideal for travelers and early-morning or late-night stops if you’re flexible about menu accuracy.

I visited Sheetz in Fishersville, VA, hoping to grab some food. My daughter loves their cheese pizza, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. Instead, she opted for a pack of two cheeseburger sliders and some fries. I ordered a three-pack of cheeseburger sliders and mozzarella sticks. After waiting for our food, we took it home, only to discover that none of the sliders came in buns; they were wrapped in tortilla shells instead. Everything else about the burgers was as we ordered, so we were quite disappointed. If there are no buns available, it would be nice for them to inform customers. Then, I bit into the mozzarella sticks, only to find they were the spicy variety, which I don't enjoy at all. At least the fries were correct, but the rest of the order was a letdown. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.
Review of Sheetz: The music playing was your typical American gas station rock—perhaps a little Journey? I couldn't tell if it was just the exhaustion from driving too long that had me disoriented or if I was actually singing along in my mind while distracted. Either way, it felt like this Sheetz had a different vibe. We wandered through the store in a zombie-like daze, desperate for restrooms. Eventually, we had to ask a staff member for directions. She was kind and looked at us with a hint of pity as two guys shuffled awkwardly, trying to hold it in, toward the bathrooms located at the back side of the store. Fortunately, the gas pumps weren’t too crowded, and I noticed that the further we got from Pennsylvania, the fewer PA chips were available.
I grabbed an order of curly fries, and they were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was tidy, and my order came out promptly. It’s also conveniently located, making it easy to get on and off I-64.
As promised, I will change my star review since this place put up the American flag again. Thank you.
