Upon first entering and reading through the extensive menu, you realize that this place is super expensive—much more expensive than Korean food in places like Chicago or Los Angeles. It was about $24 for bibimbop and $5 for tea. Both of those options were unusually expensive. We ordered the seafood pancake as an appetizer but it was dry and without flavor. The banchan was delicious but we had to ask for kimchi. The gochujang sauce that came with the food was very sweet and didn’t have any spice to it. Overall it was a super disappointing experience. I would recommend Mamas Korean in Lawrence for good Korean food.
