Loft blends seasonal waterfront charm with standout seafood and house-made snacks. Its covered upper and lower patios, heaters and provided blankets create a cozy outdoor dining experience; whitefish, grilled shrimp, wings and house-made chips earn loyal praise. Service is uneven — from thoughtful staff to slow, brusque servers — and guests note opaque fees, an $8 split charge, occasional pest problems and tight parking. Expect memorable flavors and a lovely atmosphere, but budget accordingly and allow extra time.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Only open in season because it is an enclosed outdoor seating area. They actually take reservations which is hard to find in door county. Highly recommend. I wish they served their sandwiches on their dinner menu but they are only available for take out after a certain time. Third steak in Door County for our week exploring the fall scenery. The strip steak priced at $37 was tough. Very disappointing. It was also the most expensive of the three we had. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. Seemed to very popular and the outside setting had nice heaters. Waitress was busy so conversation was short.
