I had made reservations in zeb, after the reviews. we arrived early in an empty restaurant to be greeted by alberto and his mother. there were of us and we want... read more I had made reservations in zeb, after the reviews. we arrived early in an empty restaurant to be greeted by alberto and his mother. there were of us and we wanted to share the food to taste as much as we can. alberto. and his mother were kind, helpful and patient. because there are no tables, it looks like a bar, and a few people without reservation went into thinking. alberto was welcome and supported where he could. I loved that the menu was seasonal and handwritten. alberto read the menu, answered asking and took our order. he also suggested a fabulous white wine to begin. I had read about the pear and pecorino cappellacci, so I had to. we also had the black truffle pasta. the portions were large and both dishes delicious! we moved on to a delicious zeb red wine to have with our involtini of huhn, peposo bark stew and roasted rabbits with tomato and oliven. we added a plate of seasonal mixed vegetables. yum! we couldn't decide which dessert should order, so I asked alberto to ask his mother what her favorite character was. her answer, doesto so doesto it was. tiramisu, a cake with apples, rusties and calvados and a nonna tea with vin santos cream. we all enjoyed our evening thanks to alberto and his mother.

I reviewed the reviews in google and found many similar experiences to mean, mainly connected. to non-Italian customers. I believe that a great restaurant is defined not only by the quality of the dishes, but also by the entire customer experience. the owner was disrespectful, racist and rude, ironic in a concept that is understood as an open kitchen.
