You wouldn't think it from the outside, but they have an extensive vegan menu. We started with a vegan meat and cheese place that was incredible. We then had vegan lasagne and another really delicious spinach pasta dish. Both were incredible and some of the best we've eaten in all of Italy. It's not fancy, but that was part of its charm. The couple who run the place are adorable. The food tasted homemade and we will definitely be back!
My brother is a vegan and he searched this wonderful spot out for us. We were here for a late lunch and only one other table was here. The owner Mama was working as both chef and waitress but the service was great. We each ordered a pizza and shared all around. My brother was thrilled to have so many vegan options. This was a great find for us and we all left full.
Amazing familial place serving tasty food, pizza napolitan style, lots of vegetarian and Vegan options. Good price. We ll go back before living Florence.
After a long day of touring the city, this place was exactly what we needed. It was like eating grandma's cooking except vegan! Had the vegan ricotta, mozzarella, and salami pizza and started with the fried polenta, which was wonderful itself but also came with fried dough that was as good as any I've ever had. It's also situated right next to the Santa Croce church (where Michelangelo and Dante are buried) and a wonderful Christmas market (if you're there during the holidays).
Myself and my boyfriend went here, excited to try the vegan pizza options. We got the vegan cheese board to start with, and it was soooo good! The salami was really well spiced, and the cheeses had a bunch of different flavors and textures. I even found one of them too “cheesey”. He got the vegan calzone and and it was great, but my stuffed cannelloni was the winner. It was perfectly cooked and the cheese was really creamy. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is the desserts. We got the Sacher torte and cannoli. Whilst both were okay, they weren’t anything special and were kind of expensive, for the flavors. But overall we really enjoyed it. And unlike most vegan/vegetarian places they had plenty of meat dishes too, so it would be ideal for a large group with a variety of dietary needs.
