The new location is lovely and the food delicious, with seasonal favorites and the best Panna Cotta we’ve ever had. We have dinner at Olio whenever we’re in Florence!

The foo... read more We enjoyed every minute and every bite at Olio. The place is lovely and the host (we were fortunate that it was the owner, Paolo Provvedi) was charming. The food and wine were excellent, and the creme brulee was especially wonderful like eating a cloud. We will be back for dinner and we highly recommend that you make a reservation and go to Olio while you are in Florence!

I don’t want to get into this in great detail because it was such a bad experience but the short of it is that halfway through our dinner here the manager told... read more I don’t want to get into this in great detail because it was such a bad experience but the short of it is that halfway through our dinner here the manager told us the room they sat us in they were charging us 500 euro for and each person was 250 euro on top of that. The dinner menu showed it was 55 euro per person for the meal we received. You can deduce the rest. We are Americans and they were happy to scam us.
