I agree with most commenters here, it is a tourist trap. We visited this place on March 17, 2023 at around 16:45. The kids wanted their gelato and the lady at the counter immediately took a small looking cup and asked what they wanted. They asked for 3 flavours each, which everywhere else in Florence was not more than 5 euros. When I went to pay, they charged me 20 euros for 2 relatively small cups. I protested, they said the kids had already had their gelatos and the prices were indicated there. I agree the prices were there but the way they treat you is horrible. The lady at the counter was very rude and pushy and in any normal business should not be in her job. I know I may sound as a disgruntled customer but after all our other positive experience in Florence (next I am leaving an excellent review for our hotel) that one was really a bad one.

The other flavors are amazing too! This place is a gem! I’ve been in Italy for almost a week and I’ve had gelato in various cities multiple times a day. This is the best by far!
